His father is director Simon West, his brother actor William West, and his sister Lillie West is the lead singer of the band Lala Lala. From an early age, Oliver was surrounded by storytelling, sets, and scripts, a world that naturally sparked his passion for acting. He began his industry journey with a role in Old Guy, and later worked as the director's art assistant on Fortitude: Yet to Come.
